During the remodel, priority was put on clear line and a mix of natural materials, metal, stone, glass and wood. You will notice an unusual interior design in the hotel reception and lobby bar with a large reception desk and a bar, both made of illumined cut stone. There is a curious transport lift finely incorporated in the old architecture, making it convenient for guest to get o their accommodations.

The hotel offers the following types of accommodations; 10 double De Luxe rooms, 8 standard double rooms and 2 single rooms. We chose to have just a few rooms in the hotel, to create a more intimate relationship with our guests and at the same time meets international five-star service quality standards.

The house is often times referred to as the Altmann House or House At the Kings Magi. It dates back to the 14th century when, in this loction, the Augustinian Order founded the first Monasterial Brewery of St.Thomas. The only memory of this period preserved today, is a large Gothic cellar. The first part of the 17th century, the house was rebuilt in the Rennaisance style and named House At the Three Storks. A house sign with the embossment of three storks is displayed.

The houses current facade comes from the Classicist reconstruction in 1794 and 1820, when the House was joined with the other three buildings and displays the current house sign on a stone plaque and the main portal date from this period.

It was in the 1930's, that the famous Wallenstein restaurant, (named after famous Czech aristocratic family) was originated and many people came to eat its delicious food.

There is a meaning for the name of the House At the Three Storks. The stork used to be a carrier of good news and healthy home. We are convinced that every visit to this house will agree with the Latin saying that was originally placed under the house sign: "Frustra mundus invidet, quando Deus providet" - "The world envies in vain, when God takes care".
